As a diehard Los Angeles Lakers fan, the loss of Kobe Bryant has left a hole in Lil Wayne’s heart. It looks like Weezy honored the late five-time NBA champion in multiple ways on his Funeral album, which dropped Friday (Jan. 31).

The death of the Lakers legend devastating sad reality for Lil Wayne.

To honor the five-time NBA champion, “Kobe Bryant,” Lil Wayne leaves 24 seconds of silence at the end of track No. 8 “Bing James,”  from his Funeral album made available on January 31.  The vocals  (Assisted by J-Rock) are finished, but the song continues in silence for another 24 seconds.

The number 24 correlates to number on Bryant’s  jersey in 2006. After a few hours delay, the album released at 3 a.m ET Friday morning.
