LONDON.- A portrait by Sir Thomas Lawrence that has never been on public display since it was painted over two hundred years ago is now available for visitors to enjoy at the National Gallery in Room 34.

S-1 scholarship in Singapore

The Singapore Government again gave scholarships to students from ASEAN countries to study the S-1 at the Nanyang Technological University (NTU), the National University of Singapore and the Singapore Management University.

Applicants can apply a wide range of study except Medicine and Dentistry. Period of study funded for three or four years, depending on their respective disciplines.

Requirements to be met the candidate:
1. Nationals of one of the countries of ASEAN (except Singapore)
2. Has a perfect academic record
3. Have good English language skills
4. Has completed the final year of high school with excellent academic records (academic transcripts are incomplete will be rejected)

These scholarships cover tuition fees during the study according to the required, and cost of living 4300 Singapore dollars per year.

Applications submitted must get approval from the Ministry of Education and Culture (Division of Planning and Foreign Cooperation) at Building C, 6th floor, Jl Sudirman, Senayan, Jakarta. Note:candidates are also advised to seek a certificate legalized by the previous school prior to submitting an application to the Ministry of Education and Culture.
