The Kennedy mystique appeals to the country crooner, but Taylor Swift ready for the heat that comes with hanging with a Kennedy?

Taylor Swift has long made her admiration for the Kennedy clan clear, so it comes as no surprise that the singer's latest rumored beau is a member of America's royal family.

Though the country sweetheart was initially linked to Patrick Schwarzenegger following a beachside celebration for July 4, reports have surfaced that the Kennedy Swift has eyes for is actually Conor Kennedy, son of Robert Kennedy Jr. and the late Mary Kennedy.

Swift, 22, and Kennedy, 18, were spotted getting cozy over the weekend at the Kennedy family compound in Hyannis Port, Mass., Gossip Cop reports.

A source tells the site that Swift first became acquainted with the Kennedys after the singer attended the red-carpet premiere of "Ethel," an HBO documentary about the life of Ethel Kennedy, back in January.

The "Love Story" singer admitted that she was "starstruck" after meeting Caroline and Ethel Kennedy, but began to get friendly with the family not soon after.

"I got to spend the afternoon with Ethel a couple of weeks ago," she told Vogue at the time. "She is one of my favorites, because you look back at the pictures of her and Bobby and they always look like they are having the most fun out of everybody."

After that, Swift and the Kennedys kept in touch, and the young couple began to see each other.

On July 25, the pair enjoyed slices at Marcella's Pizza in the young Kennedy's hometown of Mount Kisco, N.Y., and later walked out of the restaurant "hand-in-hand," a source told People.

The two had another pizza date a few days later prior to visiting Ethel Kennedy, followed by a lunch with friends on Cape Cod on July 29, People reports.

And though the couple hasn't come forward with their romance just yet, Swift did vehemently deny her romance with Schwarzenegger at the Teen Choice Awards earlier this month.

"Patrick's a friend!" she told Access Hollywood on the red carpet. "That's why I don't read any gossip about me because I don't want to be weirded out by who people think I'm dating.

"I should just warn guys (who talk to me.) ... 'This is what you can expect tomorrow on all these different blogs.'"
